Hey! My name is Sierra…
I am a photographer based out of the Black Hills of South Dakota. I do everything I can to minimize my footprint on Earth, which is why the goal of my photographs is to show just how diminutive humans are compared to the natural world; yet we still make such a big impact. I currently study Photography and Outdoor Education at Black Hills State University (BHSU).
I enjoy peaking Colorado’s 14ers, camping, and traveling. Some other hobbies of mine include cooking, reading, and running for BHSU’s cross country and track teams!
In recent years, I have worked as a photographer for organizations such as Adventure Unlimited Ranches, Meals on Wheels, BHSU Marketing and Communications, and other organizations and non-profits.
After securing my degrees, I plan to continue to travel all over to capture the life growing on our beautiful planet. We can enjoy the outdoors without having to destroy the outdoors.
